Generative AI, Coaching, Mentorship, & Leadership Development
Those who know me know that I love to learn! Recently, I completed several Generative Artificial Intelligence courses, workshops, and events through LinkedIn Learning, Coaching.com, and 6 Team Conditions platforms.
How did I get access to all of this learning?
As a resident of Massachusetts, I have access to the Boston Public Library, which currently provides free access to LinkedIn Learning for patrons. This is a huge benefit that I greatly appreciate! As an Implementation Mastery (IM) facilitator with Coaching.com, I have access to their library of programs. Lastly, I am a certified to administer the 6 Conditions Team Diagnostic Survey assessment. As a provider, I get to participate in live, virtual community of practice workshops on diverse topics with other certified coaches.
The Courses I have recently completed on LinkedIn Learning, as part of the Generative AI for Learning and Development Professional Certificate include:
A Practical Guide to Upskilling Your Organization on AI
Generative AI in Learning and Development
The Future of Workforce Learning: AI-Powered Personalization for Skill Development
Using Gen AI to Develop Personalized Learning Plans

Leading Responsible AI in Organizations
I also completed other LinkedIn Learning courses on the topic of Generative Artificial Intelligence, coaching, and mentoring including:
Mentoring Employees in the Era of AI
Enhance Your Coaching Impact with Generative AI
Learning Insights
What I am learning is that Gen AI doesn’t have to be scary and it is unlikely to take over our jobs completely - as long as we can understand and use Generative AI. One way to use Generative AI with coaching is to get analysis and feedback on the coach’s performance after each session. With coachees’ permission, this is possible through recording coach sessions, and having AI review the transcripts to give feedback to the coach.
I currently use Gen AI for program design as a sounding board for descriptions and learning objectives. I also plan to use Gen AI moving forward to assist with the design of mentor programs. Regardless of how you decide to use Generative AI, it is important that you follow ethical and security guidelines with your organization and client agreements.
